Is a particular film covered by the Big Studio Movie Licence? Here’s how to find out.
This guide will help you find out if the film you're wanting to screen is covered by The Big Studio Movie Licence.
Step by step guide
- Search
Click here to search the film title. Make sure to select "films" in the dropdown next to the search bar at the top of the page.
- View
View results and look for the matching film title with the category "Film - Public Exhibition". See figure 1.1.
- Click
Click the correct listing and look for the "Applicant" on the information page. See figure 1.2.
- Check
Check the applicant is on of the studios covered by your licence:
Click here for studios covered by the Church licence.
Click here for studios covered by the Aged Care and Retirement Village licence.
In the example below, Sony Pictures Releasing P/L is confirmed as a Sony title and can be used under the BSML.
